i actually and literally laughed out loud. at 3am. just sayin'.
second, updaty-stuff. who wants to know what?
i seem... ok. the incision has an infection, that is slowly getting better. it hurts. a lot. i do some PT and read a lot, because its all i can do. i can't lie down all the way, so i'm still stuck in the recliner in the living room.
on the plus side, i proved that i am NOT addicted to anything by going almost 48 without anything with no issues except pain. so... i have cut the doses of all my pain meds in half, and that keeps the pain down below an 8, and thats good enough, and doesn't scare me near as much. i'm also taking stuff like every 6 or 7 hours instead of every 3 or 4. have i ever mention how terrified i am of addiction? that is my actual honest to god phobia... getting hooked on some fucking drug and turning in to my aunt. tobacco and caffeine don't change me. drugs do. its a Thing(tm)
other than that... whose going to GenCon? because i need spys. no, wait, spys is not correct, i need AGENTS. because Pete might go, and if he goes and doesn't buy me a pretty pretty present when *I* can't go because someone cut off my hip, i will be JUSTIFIED in my boyfriend-cide, so i need agents to help him buy me a pretty. maybe a painting to match the first one? i know the artist did a series of them, and it was only like $35 (i am cheap to date, what can i say?)
that said, i did take my sleep-bed drugs not too long ago, so i should turn off the computer before i fall asleep with it on me again...

Glad to hear you're feeling better and handling a FHO like you are. It's a Big Thing to handle.
