Aug. 31st, 2008 12:23 ami wish my authors would write faster, and the publishing companies would publish faster...
TV has spoiled us. yes, we have to wait MONTHS for new seasons... but during the season we generally only have to wait a week to get the next episode.
damnit, people, write faster! espicially eric flint. damnit man, every freaking 163x book is a cliff hanger! and david weber... seriously, we need those machines from "The TOmmyknockers". the ones where the writer went to bed wearing a cap-thingy attached to the computer, and she woke up the next day with the entire book written. perfectly.
then even *I* could write. i wouldn't get bored or frustrated and go read instead. i could just take a nap and wake up with a new best-seller. on the downside, the Anita Blake books would be even MORE obvious excuses for porn...
but still. worth it.
