it has been brought to my attention that i don't actually update my journal, other than random funnies, or the occasional ask for help.
so, here is a sorta update, and quit asking :D
my leg... turns out, almost a year after i started having the pain in my right leg that incapacitates me... that its incapacitating. erm. it seems i have displaysia of the right hip... and if you think that means that i have a partially dislocated hip, your sorta right. my hip socket is not holding my thigh joint properly, so i have multiple tears in the lining of my hip. so YES STUPID DOCTORS I HAVE A REAL REASON TO HURT. fuckers. took a year to get to this, but there it is.
so i get to have a "little" surgery in June (after school is out, see?) where the surgeon goes in laproscopically and fixes the tears and such, and sees if i need the BIG surgery now or if i can wait. this has a 3 month or so recovery time.
oh, the big surgery? cutting off my hip joint, rotating it, and screwing it back on. maybe. if i am lucky. or a replacement, if i'm not.
turns out this hip problem is ALSO the problem i have with my KNEE. and it could have been fixed over a decade ago, had a doctor just listened to me then. fuckers.
yes, i am bitter. but hey, i just had my birthday, and bought myself skate-shoes! so after my surgery, look to see me skating everywhere!!!
(yes, i bought kid shoes. i've done it before, don't look horrified. they ROCK)
now, off to take more methadone and play wow. yay.
