stuff and other stuff
Jun. 23rd, 2007 06:42 pmi haven't posted a lot recently. to be honest, most of the people who might see my page don't want to see whats going on, except for those with whom i have regular contact.
i keep thinking about things i want to write about. my favorite, at the moment? its a bit complicated, but it boils down to this: if *I* were a man, and i was told that that it wasn't my fault that i raped a woman because i had no choice because i could see X portion of her anatomy, i would tell the person who told me that to go fuck himself (probably him).
did that make sense?
yes, its insulting as a woman to be told that its MY fault if some man cant control himself and rapes me (although most rape is actually about power/control/hate, not sex per se), that a man's control is DIRECTLY proportional to the amount of skin covered.
i think it would be (SHOULD be) even MORE insulting to be told i can't control myself.
how manly is it to not be able to control yourself? thats not meant to be an insulting question, guys. but it is THE question here. i don't care if i walk around starkers, not even socks - if someone wants to be called an ADULT HUMAN MALE, shouldn't they be required to ACT as an adult human?
in other news, i must move. i ask for volunteers to help. i am literally incapable of doing anything to help myself. next sunday. please let me know if you can - we are shooting to do it from 3-5.
