Scotty what?
Aug. 4th, 2004 03:10 amthat was for those people who stuck it out to the bitter end at kareoke... and saw Sean (whose lj name i don't know) singing "Scotty Doesn't Know". a lot.
i remember the days when kareoke was fun and carefree. now its fun and too much work. i need a raise, damnit! i get my ass kicked, watch my boyfriend dancing with everyone BUT me because i am working, watch everyone else play pool... and on those rare occasions when i WANT a drink, feel compeled to not, because i am work.
It doesn't help that i had a jackass who i only met once playing with my equipment and turning himself up so loud i couldn't hear MYSELF, let alone the person trying to ask me a question. or that i am the ONLY ethical KJ that i know - which means that i won't take bribes to move people. i moved someone TWO places tonite, because she was sick and needed to go and she always stayes the entire time without complaining about it... and was yelled at by my boss. who moves people up to the front if they flash their tits at him. hello?
seriously thinking about that tip jar, though. it would be nice to get tips... but everyone there, essentially, is a friend of mine, and i would feel bad about it. oh, well, its a pretty thought.
going to do my homework now. hope everyone ELSE had fun!!! (i did, at the end :) but i think scotty knows NOW
