until yesterday, we all were hoping it was an April Fools joke (she was brutal with the jokes)

this is why you don't want to be mexican or indian in northern california. the cops WOULD NOT SEARCH THE RIVER. they wouldn't. Tommy is the one who found her jacket. they had to hire divers to search the river (at their cost, the the PD or the city...)

the funeral is monday. and i am in Ohio and broke. my mom went down though.

i called. it was weird, at first. the last time i actually talked to Tommy was at my mom's wedding. my mom (behind my back and after i EXPLICITLY told her NOT TOO) had told Tommy and Terry (my step bro and sister from Thomas, the BadStepDad) about what Thomas had done to me... and Tommy, shocking me white, told me he wasn't surprised, just sad. i had been terrified. Tommy was a Hell's Angel, used to have a hobby of taking on other bikers... the man was seriously frightening when i was a kid. Deliah, his wife, had spent 26 years mellowing him out.
